It isn’t the first time a President has sent troops to fight in illegal and unnecessary wars, and it won’t be the last. It is simply in the DNA of our nation.

I would not necessarily call it unpopular since I was considered a pariah among my friends, associates, and colleagues for speaking out against the Viet Nam war, the Gulf Wars, and others. Many Americans are gung-ho on these military actions.

It is, however, exciting and at the same time fearful, to see end times prophecy unwinding at an ever-increasing pace.

  2. Like many returning GI’s (in my case from the UK) I quicklly joined the anti-war movement and am now a member of Veteran’s for Peace. I hope the percentage of hawkish Americans is dwindling.
