How dare you call Jesus’ conversation with the Samaritan woman at the well by referring to it with the pejorative term “mansplaining.”

She is the first person in Scripture where Jesus reveals himself as the Messiah. He is neither condescending nor patronizing to this woman.

John 4:28Then the woman left her water jar, went back into the town, and said to the people, 29“Come, see a man who told me everything I ever did. Could this be the Christ?” 30So they left the town and made their way toward Jesus.

As Scripture points out, this woman influenced many in her town to follow Jesus.
