He and his spouse, the Rev. Dr. Martha M. Cruz, are the parents of six adults and are members of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Rye Brook, N.Y. They live in Port Chester, N.Y.

    Mr. Jenks, are you calling the Head of the Catholic Church “His Highness?” Jesus expounded in Matthew 23 8But you are not to be called ‘Rabbi,’ for you have one Teacher, and you are all brothers. 9And do not call anyone on earth your father, for you have one Father, who is in heaven. 10Nor are you to be called instructors, for you have one Instructor, the Christ. 11The greatest among you shall be your servant. 12For whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and whoever humbles himself will be exalted.
    One must respect that the stance an individual or church takes on the social and political issues of the day are based on their own opinions and corporate agenda. If one seeks the “TRUTH,” he/she/they will find it in the Inspired Word of God.

    Matthew 7: 7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: 8 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

    P.S. Why do you call Mr. Jim Martin, “father” when Jesus explicitly states to call no one on earth “father?”
