    And ELCA is plummeting.
I am confounded and bewildered that upon replying to a post of Ms. Eaton on Twitter. I was blocked by both she and ELCA. I pointed out that a “quote” she stated from “Rachael” did not exist in Scripture. I asked her to specify chapter and verse from where she was “quoting.” I also stated that there is no “Rachael” to be found in the Bible…only Rachel and Rahel.
It is indeed odd that whenever I email or communicate with a commercial business or vendor that they communicate back to me either defending their position, apologizing for an error, or to point out that I was wrong. When communicating with the church I either hear crickets or get shunned.
The Lutheran Church does not seem to want to defend its position or enter into a discussion.
After being a member of the Lutheran Church for many years, I found it necessary to head for the exit and seek those churches having a more fundamental approach to Scripture.
St. Paul’s Lutheran Church and ELCA are ultimately the losers. My wife and I are ardent tithers. We contribute to InTouch, Times Square Church, LoveIsrael.org, World Challenge and various other non-religious charities.
For those who are seeking “The Truth,” …read the Bible. Furthermore, attend a church where congregants are encouraged to bring the Bible.

P.S. Mr. Jenks, you can be thankful you do not have to suffer my comments and corrections any longer.
    Adios
