Pearl Harbor

Pearl Harbor changed millions of lives forever. Mom (18) and Dad (23) moved up their wedding plans and were married 21 days later. They were separated for three years as Mom worked in a war plant near Oneonta, and Dad saw combat in the Battle of Buna Chapel, Papua New Guinea.

He and his spouse, the Rev. Dr. Martha M. Cruz, are the parents of six adults and are members of St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Rye Brook, N.Y. They live in Port Chester, N.Y.
