    Philip,

You need to understand that we live in a democracy. These leaders are those whom the majority put in positions of power.

Are you somehow insinuating that we are living in an authoritarian state in which the GOP has usurped power over the populace?

Nay, look to your fellow Americans who put these political leaders in office.

Our leaders are a reflection of us the people.

Look back at the history of our nation:

When the majority wanted slavery, we got slavery.

When the majority wanted segregation, we got segregation.

When the majority wanted equal rights, we got that.

When the majority wanted abortion, we got that.

When the majority wanted LGBTQ+ rights, we got that

Mr. Jenks, if you do not like the direction in which this county is headed, then maybe you are out of synch with the majority.

Yours truly, Mr. Vee, is simply a casual observer, not having political leanings in either direction.
