Ms. Hildegard of Bingen was definitely a pious and religious woman of faith in addition to her numerous other talents.

Scripture calls all true believers “Saints.” Nevertheless, the Catholic church and some of its Protestant offspring has seen fit to canonize specific individuals regarding their special religiosity within the church.

Where in Scripture does it state that we ought to celebrate the birth or death dates of our heroes of faith?

    One further question Deacon Jenks.

When you were affiliated with the Baptist church, did you celebrate and recognize the feasts of these canonized Saints, or do your beliefs shift and change according to the dogma and doctrine of the church you affiliate yourself with?
